The Molex PowerCat™ 6 UTP jacks are key components of the PowerCat 6 UTP system. The RJ-45 jack features a patented spring-loaded shutter which prevents incomplete mating and protects from dust and contaminants when the plug is not mated to the jack. The PowerCat 6 UTP jack utilizes patented IDC V-shaped contacts that flex, not fatigue, when terminated. The PowerCat 6 UTP jack is engineered for use across a broad range of Molex Premise Networks products. When used as a full PowerCat 6 UTP end to end system, Molex provides a 25 year system warranty.
