APLLM (Advanced Physical Layer Lifecycle Management) is Molex Premise Network’s revolutionary new suite of solutions providing enterprises with the ability to manage their Physical Layer infrastructure with a level of visibility and integration unique within the structured cabling industry. Using a combination of software, electronics and traditional data transport solutions, APLLM allows businesses to track and manage their infrastructure investment starting from planning through to design, procurement, installation, the daily management of moves, adds and changes (MACS), and the eventual upgrade of that infrastructure including attached assets, thereby spanning its entire lifecycle.

APLLM Product Overviews
- MIIM™ is an advanced physical layer manager focusing on enhancing network management at the physical layer, network security, asset management, increased productivity and visibility. In addition to providing MAC & work order management, MIIM continuously monitors the physical layer, detects network device connect/disconnects - regardless of whether the device is powered on or off - monitors continuity of horizontal cables from telecom room to work area outlet, and through ”smart polling” of network devices maintains constant information on all devices connected to work area outlets. Significant MIIM differentiators include true centralised management of the channel beyond the wire closet out to remote work areas, guided patching, and collection/reporting/alarming of real time Layer 1 data.
